On August 24 (Wed.), 2016, the “11th Governing Council Meeting” of the Asian River Restoration Network (ARRN) was held in Incheon, Rep. of Korea.
Following Prof. Suk-Hwan JANG (ARRN Chairperson)’s greetings, each National RRN’s 2015-2016 activities in Korea, China and Japan were reported.
In the discussion and decision, ARRN’s future activities in 2017, succeeding ARRN secretariat, further technical exchange with other organizations, and further expansion of the ARRN member were discussed.
In this meeting, it was decided that the succeeding ARRN secretariat would be transferred from KRRN (Korea) to JRRN (Japan) in 2017 based on the ARRN charter.
